GlacialTech has announced the GlacialPower AC090N slim notebook adaptor. Besides being able to charge your notebook (obviously), the AC090N can double up as a battery charger for mobile devices.

GlacialTech Inc. provides cooling, power and LED solutions for both industrial and commercial applications. Earlier today, the Taipei-based company has announced the slim GlacialPower AC090N notebook adaptor.

The AC090N has a high power efficiency rating of above 88%, 90W maximum output power, and supports 100-240V AC input. There are eight selectable output voltages available, and comes with ten different output connectors for compatibility with a wide range of notebooks.

What sets the AC090N apart from many other third-party notebook adaptors is the inclusion of a 5V/1A USB port. Charge devices such as mobile phones and music players simply by connecting the device via a USB cable to the adaptor.

Measuring just 104.2 x 57.3 x 17.1mm and weighing 0.2kg, the AC090N is both slim and light; mobile road warriors will have no problem stuffing this adaptor somewhere in their bags.

A summary of the AC090N's features:

  • Slim and portable
  • Compatible with most laptops - multiple output connectors for different DC inlets
  • Selectable 8-level output voltage
  • 5V/1A USB port to charge 3C devices
  • Short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent and over temperature protection
  • >88% power efficiency
  • 90W maximum output power
  • RoHS compliance
