Google Edition of HTC One to get 4.3 “few weeks” after release
A new rumor has surfaced on twitter that says the Google Edition of the HTC One could see Android 4.3 as soon as a few weeks after it launches.
If you weren’t already excited for the Google Edition of the HTC One, then here is some more good news to whet your appetite. According to reliable leaker LlabTooFeR on twitter, the stock edition of the HTC One should receive Android version 4.3 just a few weeks after the phone releases.
There has been no official word on when 4.3 will be officially announced and released by Google, as well as not many leaks on what it could possibly include. There have been rumors that it might launch on June 10 alongside a Nexus 7 refresh and considering that is under two weeks away, we won’t have to wait too long to find out if that one is true.
Either way, this should help calm people who might have thought there wouldn’t be a 4.3 update any time soon. It looks like the announcement of the update, as well as the launch of the S4 and HTC One Google Edition phones should make the month of June a big one for Android.
