Google Instant was launched in September, providing users faster search results while they are typing in the search terms. However, currently, it is only available for users in the U.S.

When you use Google to search for the information you need, you would find that the search engine returns results almost instantly while you are still keying in the search term. This is Google Instant, a service that claims to save the average user two to five seconds per search. In September, Google Instant was launched and made available to Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE 8 web browsers.

Now, Google Instant is extending its reach to the mobile department. Users who own smartphones running Android 2.2 (Froyo) or iPhones and iPods on iOS 4.0, you can now enjoy Google Instant on your mobile devices. However, the beta version is currently only available for users in US, though it should be available worldwide soon.

Here's a demo video on how it works on mobile:-
