Google Wave: Nice Knowing You

Reported by on Thursday, August 5 2010 11:04 am

Google is finally putting an end to the Wave project, a move which isn't unexpected due to lack of user interest. The Google Wave is designed as a communication and collaborative web tool.

Google Wave: Nice Knowing You

It was barely a year ago whereby everyone was excited to get a Google Wave invite. Some users who have the extra invites even tried selling them on eBay for a few dollars and interestingly, there are buyers.

At that time, Google launched their Wave project described as "a new web application for real-time communication and collaboration". The Google Wave demo video on YouTube showed hugh potential of what it can do, but unfortunately, the project is shortlived due to lack of user interest. According to Google, Wave's technology will be extended to other projects.
