Hot From The Oven: Linksys E2000 Advanced Wireless-N Router Coming To Singapore
If you are one of the lucky few who have access to the ultra-fast fibre-optic broadband services, this latest bit of news might be just the thing you need to make the most out of your connection. VR-Zone has just received word that the soon-to-be-released Linksys E2000 router is optimised for use with Singapore’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network, and will allow consumers to benefit from the faster wireless access provided by the NGNBN.
· Four Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) ports for faster file sharing
· Selectable dual-band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) technology allowing for smoother file transfers and media streaming
· transfer speeds up to 300 Mbps
The local price for the Linksys E2000 Advanced E2000 Wireless-N Router has not been released yet, but our sources have informed us that the device is slated for a release sometime next week. However, for those who are interested, the router is currently retailing in the US for US$119.99.
