HP to launch WebOS music store?

There have been rumors circulating as to whether HP will be launching their own WebOS music store in conjunction with their upcoming TouchPad tablet device, similar to that like the Apple iTunes store.

However, it looks like the launch could be postponed as the company is still in talk with major labels, and according to Billboard.biz, the discussions are heating up. One of the major label has expressed that while HP have brought together a number of multimedia services which are compatible with all WebOS devices, it does not mean that the company would be rolling out the services anytime yet. It could be at least six months or longer if HP is going to offer the music service.
