Our review unit features a 23-inch touchscreen display that allows you to navigate, type your messages, or open your applications with your fingers. One neat feature of the display is that you can adjust and recline to 60-degree angle.

This is how the display looks like after you recline it, to almost 60-degree, and now, you can use it easily like a giant tablet device..

Two USB ports, headphones and microphone jacks, 6-in-1 memory card reader (SD, SDHC, MMC, xD-Picture, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro), and volume controls are on the left of the TouchSmart 610.

On the right is the DVD-RW slot-in drive for backing up your data on rewriteable discs and playing DVD movies. The power button is below the slot-in drive. According to HP, you can opt for a Blu-ray slot-in combo drive to playback your Blu-ray movies.

The rear holds four USB, audio in, audio Sub (for subwoofer), LAN, TV tuner, Kensington lock hole and the power connector. Even though the cable antenna is included in the accessories (bottom pic), you probably won't use it to receive analogue TV channels. We also did not find any HDMI connectors, which means you cannot output your screen to another external display.

Incorporating Beats Audio, the TouchSmart 610 claims to deliver superb quality music playback and the built-in speakers are located just below the display.

The HP TouchSmart 610 comes bundled with wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, cable antenna and a remote control.
