HP unveils more than 30 new products for business users



Today in Shanghai, technology giant HP has announced 30 new products designed for the business users which include EliteBook Folio 9470m Ultrabook, the durable EliteBook P-series notebook PCs, as well as desktop PC series consisting of Compaq Pro 4300 Business Desktop and All-in-One PC, Compaq Pro 6300 and Compaq Elite 8300.

HP EliteBook Folio 9470m

The sleek 14-inch HP EliteBook Folio 9470m Ultrabook measures 19mm thin and weighs just over 1.63kg, and claims to offer enterprise-class docking, security features and the reliability that business users require. It can boot quickly from sleep and has a full array of connectivity options such as built-in 4G wireless WAN, Ethernet, VGA, DisplayPort and USB 3.0, as well as option for a secondary battery for extended usage. The company also introduced the HP ENVY Pro Ultrabook and the ENVY SpectreXT Pro with embedded TPM security chip to secure data in email and information on solid state drive. The three Ultrabooks feature for optional a-band wireless capabilities and optional three-year limited warranties. 

HP EliteBook 2170p

The EliteBook 2170p claims to be HP’s smallest and lightest business notebook. Weighing 1.31kg, the 11.6-inch notebook PC boasts up to eight hours of battery life and offers enterprise-class connectivity, security and management features. It is also compatible with the common docking stations in HP business notebook portfolio. Featuring a 12.5-inch high-definition (HD) display, the HP EliteBook 2570p comes with an optical drive and extensive connectivity options. With the new HP 2570p Docking Station and long-life battery support, you can have advanced features and extended usage on the HP EliteBook 2570p.

Available in 14- or 15.6-inch displays, the HP EliteBook 8470p and 8570p premier business notebooks deliver smooth audio quality from SRS Premium Sound PRO and claim to be provide good good durability, manageability, security features as well as expanded battery options for the mobile road warriors. The EliteBook 8470p is said to be capable of providing up to 36 hours run time on a single charge, with the optional HP Ultra Extended Life Notebook Battery.
HP ProBook 6570b
The HP ProBook b-series mainstream notebook PCs, available in 14- or 15.6-inch displays with UMA or discrete graphics, are protected by a durable case with wear-resistant tungsten-colored finish. The ProBooks incorporate HP 3D DriveGuard that help to protect the notebooks against bumps, as well as keep data safe. The HP ProBook 6470b and 6570b are equipped with Intel vPro Technology that provides enhanced IT manageability capabilities, while the ProBook 6475b comes with the latest AMD technology for affordable business productivity. Designed for small and medium businesses, the ProBook S-series notebook PCs come in durable aluminum casing and provide easy-to-use security. Measuring 13.3- to 17.3-inches, the S-series notebooks offer seamless video conferencing in the office and entertainment enjoyment in both Intel and AMD-based configurations.
HP Compaq Pro 4300 SFF
The HP Compaq Pro 4300 All-in-One touts itself to be the company’s most space-efficient commercial all-in-one built for business users. Powered by the latest third-generation Intel Core processors and Intel HD Graphics, the HP Compaq Pro 4300 All-in-One sports a 20-inch LED backlit display and comes with multimedia-rich features and superb graphics, and smart connectivity such as a serial port and expandable storage including solid state and self-encrypting hard drives.
For small businesses, the HP Compaq Pro 4300 Small Form Factor Desktop PC has a small footprint, is equipped with the latest Intel processors, offers business-class quality and reliability, and  is affordably priced.

Pricing and Availability

The HP EliteBook Folio 9470m is expected to be available in October 2012 and pricing will be announced at a later date. The HP ENVY SpectreXT Pro Ultrabook and HP ENVY Pro Ultrabook have a starting retail price of approximately US$1,099 and US$849, respectively, and are expected to be available in June 2012.
The HP EliteBook 2170p and HP EliteBook 2570p start at approximately US$1,399 and US$1,299, respectively, and would be available in July 2012. Both the HP EliteBook 8470p and 8570p start at approximately US$1,199 and are expected to be available in June 2012. The HP ProBook 6470b and 6570b start at approximately US$899, the HP ProBook 6475b starts at approximately US$799 and the HP ProBook s-series starts at approximately US$799. All three HP ProBook series are expected to be available in June.
The HP Compaq Pro 4300 All-in-One starts at approximately US$529, while the HP Compaq Pro 4300 SFF starts at approximately US$499. Both are expected to be available in July 2012.
