Size and weight isn't exceptional, but give it worthiness as part of the Ultrabook realm with its 20mm thickness, dimensions of 12.88" (W) x 8.7" (D) x 0.79" (H) and weighing in at about 1.8Kg.

A particularly bold feature of the Envy 14 Spectre is the use of Gorilla Glass in spades; used on its lid, display, palmrest and even the touchpad. Also standard is its Beats Audio support, backlit keyboard and near-field communication (NFC) (referred to as 'HP Touch to Share').

The 14-inch Brightview Infinity LED display is confined to a resolution of just 1366 x 768, but word has it this spiffy looking Ultrabook will be launching at the end of the month in the Asia-Pacific region with a higher resolution 1600 x 900 panel.
