HTC Acquires Mobile Software Company, Abaxia

HTC has announced the acquisition of Abaxia, a mobile software company that design mobile phone home screens. The french company's software has been deployed over 25 million phones and 60 different handset models.

HTC Acquires Mobile Software Company, Abaxia

Taiwanese phone maker HTC has announced the acquisition of French mobile software company Abaxia. The Paris-based company is used by operators and phone makers in the design of mobile phone home screens, and their software has also been deployed on over 25 million phones and 60 different handset models.

The purchase price of the company has not been disclosed, and HTC has not mentioned whether after the acquisition, it would continue to offer Abaxia products to other phone makers.
