It seems that HTC has ironed out their position with Andriod's new Ice Cream Sandwich mobile platform with this recent leak of a new phone they are working on, codenamed "Ville". This new addition to the HTC family gives a double dose of goodness by including the HTC Sense UI 4.0 as well, an update to the well received OS skin.

HTC is reported to be preparing for an announcement of a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone, which will also be the first ever to feature the HTC Sense 4.0. The official announcement of the new phone, codenamed HTC Ville, will occur at the Mobile World Congress next year in Barcelona, accompanied by the HTC Edge, which is a recently rumored Quad-core phone.

The Ville sports a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor running under the hood. An 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera with 1080 pixel HD video capture support will grace both the Ville and the Edge.

It is said that the new smartphone will be missing the NFC feature as a result of its metal chassis, but on the other hand, it gives a sexy profile of just 8mm thick. The rest of its features include HSPA+ and Beats audio technology, all powered by a 1,650 mAh battery.
