Today, HTC announced the launch of their new HTC Desire S in Singapore. The successor to the popular HTC Desire, this one sports a stunning design with power and speed. Inspired by the HTC Legend's aluminium design, the HTC Desire S is made out of a single block of aluminum that is solid, yet feels natural in your hand.

The HTC Desire S sports a sleek new design with a subtle curve at the bottom with HTC’s trademark aluminum unibody. Internally, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s new 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor that claims to offer superb performance and power. With dual front and back cameras, high-definition video recording and a 3.7-inch WVGA display, the HTC Desire S presents multimedia content brilliantly, hitting the sweet spot for people who want a premium smartphone experience that is personal, fun and does it all.

Pricing and Availability

The HTC Desire S will be available through mobile operators and authorized retailers at a suggested retail price of S$688 from April 2011 onwards.
