HTC launches Desire V, Desire C and One S in Singapore

HTC Asia has announced the launch of their next generation Desire series phones – Desire V and Desire C – with Beats Audio technology, and the One S which claims to be the slimmest and most elegant phone yet. All three phones will be available on 16 June, this weekend.

The HTC Desire C is designed as an affordable smartphone for users who are getting their first Android phone, or upgrading from an existing one. It features the latest HTC Sense 4.0, powerful battery, access to thousands of apps on Google Play, and runs Android 4.0 ICS. It is available in red, white and black finishes, and priced at S$338 (before telco subsidies).

The Desire V is the company's new Android smartphone with dual-SIM card slots for busy business professionals who need to keep track of their work and personal lives on a single mobile companion. It sports a brilliant 4-inch display, and features the latest HTC Sense 4.0 integrated with Android 4.0. The HTC Desire V (3G and GSM) claims to be the most affordable 4-inch smartphones on the market, offers one of the best-in-class interfaces and lets users switch easily between networks for better coverage, regardless of where they are. The Desire V will retail at S$498 before contract.

Resembling the One X, the new HTC One S features a sophisticated light-to-dark gradient finish on its aluminium body. It is equipped with a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and sports a 4.3-inch bright Super AMOLED screen. The phone is also crafted with contoured Corning Gorilla Glass that provides sufficient durability. The One S runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4, and features new camera capabilities – you can take pictures even when you are shooting HD videos. The HTC One S has a price tag of S$948 (before telco subsidies) and comes with free Beats Solo Headset.
