HTC will be releasing a bevy of smartphones later this year, but that doesn’t mean the firm has forgotten about customers of its previous products. The One X has been selling quite well considering HTC hasn’t fared well against competing smartphone OEMs.
MoDaCo reports that HTC will be releasing an official Jelly Bean update for the non-carrier One X around October, with updates for the carrier-branded ones coming some time in December.
The One X+ is purported to come with Jelly Bean out of the box when it is launched. HTC One S users may not get the official Jelly Bean experience as there are no words as to whether or not there will be an update.
One S users shouldn’t be too sad however, because there are plenty of third party Jelly Bean ROMs floating around the internet. Check out the XDA forums to see if you can find one that you like, and follow the instructions to get JB running on your One S.
