HTC is working on a new Windows Phone 8 device. Dubbed the HTC Tiara, this mid-ranger was subject to a leaked press shot earlier today.

HTC Tiara

Remember the HTC 8S, well the time has come for the value oriented WP8 device to meet its replacement, say hello to the upgraded HTC Tiara. The company’s upcoming WP8 device packs a mix of features (both from the HTC 8X and 8S), making it a hybrid of sorts (which is a good thing). Have a look for yourselves.

HTC Tiara Quick Specs:

  • 1.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor
  • 1 GB Of RAM
  • 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) SLCD2 Display
  • 8 MP Rear Camera
  • 1.6 MP Front Camera
  • 8 GB Internal Storage
  • 1800 mAh Battery
  • Microsoft Windows Phone 8

We aren’t sure if the device will pack a micro SD card slot, but we sure hope it does (8 GB is hardly enough). The display size is the same as the flagship 8X, albeit a much lower WVGA (vs HD) resolution.

The HTC Tiara is rumored to launch by the end of this month. Stay tuned for more coverage.
