Huawei’s upcoming Ascend P6 has regularly been in the news for the past many days and for all the right reasons. The newest one reveals its price and let me tell you, it’s very damn tempting.

The Huawei Ascend P6 has been popularly in the news as the upcoming “world’s slimmest” Smartphone. The company has gone to great lengths to slim down the phone to an amazing 6.18mm while packing a premium, iPhone 5 inspired design. And today we have a new report related to the phone that reveals its retail pricing.
For those of you still wondering, 2498 Yuan translates to roughly $407. This leads us to believe that the phone might launch globally for $399, or perhaps $449, both really attractive price tags for such a good-looking phone.
Huawei Ascend P6 Quick Specs:
- Huawei Hass K3V2 Chipset
- 1.5 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A9 CPU
- 2 GB Of RAM
- 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720) Display
- 8 MP Rear Camera
- 8 GB Non-expandable Internal Storage
- 6.18mm thickness
- Emotion UI 1.6
- 2030 mAh Battery
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
The biggest downside is the 8 GB of non-expandable storage. We really hope that Huawei sells a 16 GB version of the same. The 8 MP camera could cause many people to back away as well (all current flagships come with 13 MP snappers), but for those looking for an amazing camera, other flagships are present that are your time and attention (and money). The 2030 mAh battery comes as a surprise for we were convinced that Huawei may have sacrificed the phone’s battery capacity for the extra slim body.
Huawei is expected to reveal the Ascend P6 sometime later this month. Stay tuned for more coverage on the world’s slimmest Smartphone to-be.
