Huawei E5 Pocket Wi-Fi Now Available In Stores
With this HuaweiI E5 Pocket Wi-Fi, you can set up your own personal hotspot and share it with up to five users or devices simultaneously. The plug-and-play device does not require any drivers for installation, supports Windows and Mac operating systems and is now available at most IT stores in Singapore.
Singapore, 9 September 2010 – Huawei has made it easier for Singapore consumers to enjoy high-speed and affordable Internet surfing anytime and anywhere with the their E5 mobile Wi-Fi device.
The Huawei E5 is a Pocket Wi-Fi that offers personal hotspots for up to five concurrent users or devices. It does not need to be plugged into a computer to work, and features a self-powered battery that can last for up to five hours.The E5 can provide mobile internet access at a low cost of ownership. It provides seamless connectivity through HSUPA 5.76 Mbps/HSDPA 7.2 Mbps on the go.
Like all Huawei mobile broadband products, the Huawei E5 is a plug-and-play device, eliminating the need to install any drivers. The Huawei E5 also supports Windows and Macs OS and comes with micro SD card slot and is the perfect partner device for Wi-Fi-only devices such as iPads, Ebook readers and PSP game consoles.
Availability and suggested retail price
The E5830 is now available and can be purchased at any large IT chain stores including Apple resellers, Challenger, Harvey Norman, and Best Denki. The suggested retail price is S$299.
