Huawei launches IDEOS S7 Android Tablet in Singapore

The IDEOS S7 Android tablet from Huawei was spotted at the Communicasia trade show in Singapore, earlier June this year (and was known as SmaKit S7). Today, the China-based telecommunication and networking company has officially announced the tablet in Singapore.

Today, Huawei announced the launch of the Android-based tablet IDEOS S7 in Singapore. Powered by Android 2.1 (Eclair), the S7 boasts high-quality hardware and software and full feature performance at competitive price.
 
The 7-inch IDEOS S7 offers 3G and Wi-Fi support. With more than 100,000 apps available on the Android Market, the tablet provides communication, entertainment, and business management you need, while it can also double up as a mobile phone. 
  
The Huawei IDEOS S7 will be available in Singapore in December at M1 shops from 18 Dec onwards and selected IT stores in January 2011; RRP for sales via IT stores is S$499 excluding GST and without contract.
