Many companies vie to be the first to come up with a breakthrough product, be it the largest, slimmest or equipped with the latest feature etc. At Mobile World Congress 2012 this week, Huawei has just announced their MediaPad 10 FHD, which claims to be the world's first 10-inch tablet with quad-core processor.

Huawei has introduced the MediaPad 10 FHD, which claims to be the world’s first 10-inch quad-core tablet, at the Mobile World Congress 2012. Equipped with the company's proprietary 1.5GHz K3 quad-core processor, reportedly the smallest quad-core processor in the industry, the tablet features a 10-inch IPS high definition display (1920 x 1200) and runs the latest Google Android 4.0 ICS operating system. The K3 chip’s embedded GPU offer fast processing power and 3D graphics processing capability, which ensures seamless experience when playing high definition video clips or 3D games. Measuring 8.8mm thin and weighing 598g, the  MediaPad 10 FHD also supports high speed wireless access of up to 84 Mbps (HSPA+ 21/42/84Mbps), while at the same time supporting a number of network standards including LTE. In addition, the tablet comes with Dolby surround sound technology for superb audio experience whether you are playing games, watching movies or listening to your favorite songs. Other specifications include an 8-megapixel rear automatic-focus camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2GB memory storage of 2GB. 

The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is scheduled to be available in Singapore in Q3 2012.
