Taipei based In Win has unveiled the Ironclad, a full-ATX tower chassis aimed at modders.
Measuring 550 x 225 x 566mm, the SECC steel chassis boosts five 5.25" bays, six 3.5" bays, one 2.5" bay for (2.5” SSD/ HDD), eight expansion slots, four pre-drilled holes for water cooling pipes on the rear, punched holes for optimal wire management and a top-side I/O panel with two USB ports, two eSATA, one Firewire port and audio connectors. Fully compatible with most ATX, MICRO-ATX and BABY AT motherboards, the Ironclad comes equipped with one front 120mm fan, one rear 120mm fan, one side 220mm fan (or four 120mm fans) and one top 120mm fan (optional slot for 120mm) for cooling. Clearly designed for the enthusiasts on the lookout for a silent, performance chassis, the Ironclad also has noise-dampening foam paddings on selected panels. Pricing and availability has not been announced yet so stay tuned for more updates.
