The GeForce 7800 GS card is 110nm based and has 375MHz G70
core with 16 pixel pipes and 6 vertex pipes. It has 256MB of 1GHz GDDR3 on 256bit
memory interface. Topping off at approximately 6 Gpixels/s (16pp x 375MHz) in
fill rate and 38.4GB/s (1200MHz x 256bit /8) in memory bandwidth, it seems pretty
similar compared to the big boys of the previous generation, the NV4x. What
can it offer in terms of gaming performance?
