Intel To Ready 6 core Nehalem This Year ?

It might be too early but sources have speculated a possible 6 core Nehalem by Intel to be ready by end of this year

It will be compatible on LGA1366 platforms and there will be more to it when it is released.

With its release, it will retail with the processor lineup – Core i7 975 on the LGA1366 platform as Intel plans to discontinue every other Core i7 CPU later this year. This will be around the same timeframe when Lynnfield is released.

Everything is pure speculation and it is possible they won’t follow the Core i7 branding but there is one thing for sure, these monsters definitely won’t come cheap.
