Internal Intel chart confirms May 11 release date for Haswell refresh
44 refreshed Haswell chips will be released in May, but this list lacks new details on Devil’s Canyon.
It’s now all but confirmed that Intel will be having a big processor launch prior to Comptuex.
According to documents obtained by Chinese VR-Zone, the refreshed versions of Haswell will be released on May 11 along with Intel’s long-awaited H97 and Z97 chipsets.
This document does not specify a release date for Devil’s Canyon. Intel’s statement to the press on the overclocker-centric chip is that it will be released “mid-year”, and a likely date that is being floated around is June 2 (the first day of WWDC and the day before Computex begins).
Intel has yet to release a clock speed for the processor.
