Apple is expected to unveil the new iPad later this month. Latest renderings of iPad 5 give a glimpse of how the tablet will probably look like on display at an Apple Retail Store.
Over the past few weeks rumors about the iPad 5 have escalated, there have been a number of component leaks as well. Purported rear casing of this tablet has leaked quite a few times and it always hints at the design similarities with the iPad mini. That too has been replicated in these renders, apart from the possibility that iPad 5 may also have a Touch ID fingerprint scanner just like the iPhone 5S.
These renders have been created by Martin Hajek, who says can leakers can only show parts of the tablet, they can’t show how the tablet will look like in an Apple Store. This is somewhat true though, but not entirely. Whatever has been leaked up till now can not be considered as final, primarily due to the fact that Apple hasn’t made any confirmations about the next generation iPad. It hasn’t even said when the announcement event is going to take place, so even if the tablet in these renders looks quite similar to what everyone thinks the iPad 5 is going to be, they’ll just have to wait on Apple to make the announcement so as to be absolutely sure.
As per recent rumors, Apple’s iPad event might take place on October 22, though the company is yet to confirm the event. Apart from the iPad 5, the iPad mini with Retina Display is also expected to be announced there.
