iPhone 5 smuggled out of factory

We’re still months away from the iPhone 5’s much anticipated launch, but apparently Apple’s latest smartphone has already been smuggled out of a factory.

We’re still months away from the iPhone 5’s much anticipated launch, but apparently Apple’s latest smartphone has already been smuggled out of a factory.

If the device in the picture above is indeed a bona fide iPhone 5, then Foxconn is definitely not doing its part in making sure Apple’s next flagship don’t end up in the wrong hands.

We’ve seen quite a few supposed leaks of iPhone 5 parts leading up to this particular leak of a fully assembled device.  Apple’s last iPhone also experienced leaks well before the actual launch date, and the tradition continues with the iPhone 5. Photos and videos of an iPhone 4 appeared on a Vietnamese website back in May 2010 (also reported as a smuggled device).

The supposed leaked iPhone 5 looks amazingly similar to the rendered images from awhile back, and it may or not be a working device as it may just be a dummy for accessories manufacturers to inspect.

If this iPhone 5 is just another rendered image, well, lets just say there are some amazing talents out there with a lot of free time on their hands.
