iPhone 5s and 5c now available in Apple’s online store in the US
Sensible souls that aren’t camping outside a local Apple store for the new iPhone 5s and 5c can now order either device from Apple’s website in the U.S.
The “forward thinking” iPhone 5s is priced at $199 on a two-year contract with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon for the 16GB model, and as is usually the norm, you’ll need to add $100 and $200 to get the 32GB and 64GB variants. Buying it unlocked will set you back $649, $749 and $849 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively.
Color options include Gold, Silver and Space Grey, though the gold model seems to be in short supply. In case you’re wondering what you’re getting over the iPhone 5, the list of upgrades includes a fingerprint sensor, a more powerful A7 processor capable of 64-bit processing, improved camera with better low-light photos and two-tone flash, and a larger battery.
As for the iPhone 5c, it’s basically replacing the iPhone 5 and carries the same hardware and specs, but the back is made of polycarbonate and is available in multiple colors (Green, White, Blue, Yellow and Rose). The 16GB model is priced at $99 on a two-year contract, and at $549 if you don’t want to enter any carrier commitments. Again, add $100 to those prices and you can take home an iPhone 5c with double the storage, though there’s no 64GB variant.
Well, time to hit that source link and place an order for the iPhone of your choice. Which one are you getting?
