Following T-Mobile, AT&T also issues a vacation blackout for its employees for the latter half of September, further solidifying the claim that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will launch during this time.
Yesterday, T-Mobile had issued a vacation blackout for its employees between September 20 and 22, which might be the strongest indication yet that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will in fact be launched around this time. This claim is further strengthened as today AT&T followed suit and issued an employee vacation blackout. AT&T has placed a similar vacation blackout before every iPhone launch.
Sources at AT&T have also mentioned that there aren’t any other high-profile device launches during the second half of September. Apple is alleged to hold an event on September 10th, where it will unveil the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, and the devices will be launched ten days later on September 20th.
The iPhone 5S is going to feature a faster processor, a better camera that is great at taking images in low-light conditions, and is set to be offered in a gold or champagne color along with the usual black and white. The iPhone 5C is the first iPhone to be constructed out of plastic, and will be available in a variety of colours.
