A well known Apple analyst is out with the latest predictions for Apple’s upcoming products, claiming that the iPhone 5S will be shipped out in late September whereas the iPad 5 and low cost iPhone will be released earlier.

The analyst in question is Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a pretty solid track record regarding Apple predictions. Kuo says that iPhone 5S release will be delayed due to low yield rates of components. Recently we heard that the fingerprint sensor had been causing manufacturing delays. Kuo says that supplies of iPhone 5S will be constrained for the first couple of months, yet another rumor we’ve heard in the past.

There have already been a lot of rumors about Apple releasing a low cost iPhone this year. Kuo believes that this particular device is likely to arrive in early September. Many alleged components of this smartphone have already been leaked online, hinting that it might look similar to the iPhone 5, but with a plastic case. The low cost iPhone is expected to be available in various color options.

The analyst also predicts that Apple will release the fifth generation iPad this September. According to previous rumors, the upcoming iPad will have an iPad mini like design, and that it will have a thinner form factor and a slimmer bezel. In the end, he touches upon the topic of Retina iPad mini. We’ve been hearing contradiction information every week, some say this device will release in 2013 while others say in 2014. Kuo says that by judging the manufacturing process, it can be predicted that Retina iPad mini is not going to be launched this year.
