iPhone

If you have been using the iPhone alarm function, you may find that it didn’t work today. Has the Apple phone caught the millennium Y2K bug? Well, there have been reports about this problem worldwide, and it looks to affect one time alarms and not recurring ones.

According to reports, many users are having problems with the alarm function of their iPhone (on iOS 4.2.1, iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.0.2), especially for those setting one-time alarm, not recurring one, on New Year day.

While Apple has yet to respond to this issue, and coming with a solution, there is temporary solutions:-

Simply, launch the Clock application, tap Alarm -> Edit -> appropriate alarm -> repeat -> set a repeat interval and Save.

If you rely on the iPhone as the alarm clock, do take note of this issue.
