You can achieve perfect macro-work images with the Nissin MF18 Macro Flash. If you're going to the IT Show 2012 in March, be sure to check out the promotion for the Nissin MF18 Macro Flash at Red Dot Photo, booth number 6811.
Schmidt Marketing, an Asian distributor of camera accessories, has recently launched the Nissin MF18 Macro Flash which will be retailing at the IT Show 2012. It has a designed-in-Japan ring flash which is compatible with both Canon and Nikon cameras, and allows photographers to achieve an even spread of light from their macro work. The MF18 Macro Flash is particularly suited for use to take portrait shots, taken either in a studio or on location. Features of the MF18 include an impressively high power guide number of 16 (ISO 100) and a power ratio that can be adjusted down to 1/1024 in the Fine Macro mode. It also provides a Wireless TTL function, which allows for the addition of slave flashes. Firmware updates are available directly from the Nissin website via the unit's USB connection. The flash head extends in diameter and will fit lenses from 49 to 82mm with mount adaptors. 52, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77mm adapters are included, while 49, 55 and 82mm are available as optional extras.
Retail price: S$560
