Japan gets Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary collector’s box set

Square-Enix is lining up a 25th Anniversary collector’s box set that includes every Final Fantasy game except XIV, X-2, and XIII-2.  That’s the good news; bad news is no North American release of the box has been announced.

Square-Enix is lining up a 25th Anniversary collector’s box set that includes every Final Fantasy game except XIV, X-2, and XIII-2.  That’s the good news; bad news is no North American release of the box has been announced.

The collectors set will be priced at around USD $450, and here’s a list of what’s included:

  • Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy IX (18 PS1 discs)
  • Final Fantasy X, XI Vana’diel Collection 2, XII (3 PS2 discs)
  • Final Fantasy XIII (1 PS3 disc)
  • Non-game discs/toys: Special anniversary videos, Crystal ArtWorks—an anniversary visual art collection, anniversary music selection CDs, Final Fantasy XIV Mogu Mogu Earring item code, mini replica of Amano

Japan always gets the cool stuff first.
