J&W has let loose details on its new Intel Cedar Trail based fanless nettop, the M001 which confines itself to the nano-ITX form factor and runs super trimmed dimensions of just 135 x 128 x 45 mm minus the WiFi antenna and stand.

This little nettop is driven by an Atom D2550, N2800 or N2600 processor and has a single DDR3 SO-DIMM socket supporting a module of up to 4GB along with a single 2.5-inch bay for storage via SATA 3Gb/s.

Connectivity comprises three USB 2.0 ports (two at the front, one at the rear), Gigabit LAN, HDMI, VGA, 802.11n WiFi and RS232 serial (COM). The unit also houses a SD/SDHC/MS/MS Pro/MMC card reader and sports an all-metal body doubling up as a heatsink to keep this all-passive little nettop a happy chappy tucked away in a crevice somewhere.

Pricing and availability info on J&W's M001 nettop is yet to be disclosed.
