Kaira has officially brought Freecom MusicPal into Singapore
market at a SRP of S$ 299.

The Freecom MusicPal is guaranteed to find the matching radio station on the
Web and add new spice to the musical monotony of many local stations – at a
particularly affordable price, enabling you to enjoy a boundless variety of
music.

The MusicPal enables thousands of Internet radio stations to be received
wirelessly by WLAN and without the PC running. Anyone who would prefer to play
the MP3 collection of their PC/Mac or network can simply reproduce MP3 or WAV
formats on the MusicPal by streaming. Thanks to the built-in loudspeaker, the
MusicPal is completely independent of further accessories, and ideal for mobile
use.

The MusicPal can be configured in the blink of an eye, and is easy to operate:
the two handy click dials enable intuitive navigation and fully variable volume
adjustment. The radio stations are pre-sorted by genres and countries (vTuner
service included), and can be conveniently selected and saved in a “Favourites”
list, which can be called up at the touch of a button. The clear LED display
shows the time, the radio station, track and interpret, and also mixes in the
latest news reports, blog news or weather forecasts of the RSS News Service.

The elegantly simple MusicPal looks good anywhere from the kitchen to the
bedroom, and also makes a perfect radio-alarm thanks to the alarm, sleep and
snooze functions. Music aficionados can connect the MusicPal to active
loudspeakers or the hi-fi system by means of the integrated audio outputs and
therefore also enjoy digital web- or MP3 sound in hi-fi quality. A further
socket for headphones is also provided.

Equipped with WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption, the MusicPal complies with the
highest WLAN security standards. The firmware developed for this purpose by
Freecom is undergoing permanent further development, and updates are available
online for downloading.

The Freecom MusicPal for PC and Mac will be available in the shops from
September 2007 at a price of € 129.00. The package includes a power supply unit,
power cable, pre-installed vTuner service, a CD with manual and software and a
Quick Install Guide. Freecom offers a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee and free
helpdesk support.
