Among the five new kits launched today, are the HyperX T1 KHX26C11T1K2/8X, HyperX T1 KHX24C11T1K2/8X, HyperX T1 KHX21C11T1K2/16X, HyperX T1 KHX21C11T1K2/8X, and HyperX Blu KHX16C10B1K2/16X.

The KHX26C11T1K2/8X, the star-attraction in this article, comes with advertised clock speed of DDR3-2666 MHz, and is optimized for Intel Core "Ivy Bridge" processors (probably because of its XMP v1.4 profile, which is not supported on older Sandy Bridge LGA1155 platform). It utilizes tall HyperX T1 heatsinks that help sustain its advertised speeds. It consists of two 4 GB modules that make up its 8 GB capacity. The modules achieve DDR3-2666 MHz (1333 MHz actual), with CAS latency of 11T, and DRAM voltage of 1.65V, which is particularly high for the newer breed of 20 nm-class DRAM. Kingstong kept the pricing under the wraps.

The KHX24C11T1K2/8X (2x 4 GB), KHX21C11T1K2/16X (2x 8 GB), and KHX21C11T1K2/8X (2x 4 GB) also utilize the HyperX T1 heatsink design as pictured above. They pack XMP v1.4 profiles for DDR3-2400 MHz, DDR3-2133 MHz, and DDR3-2133 MHz, respectively. All three operate at their advertised speeds with a CAS latency of 11T. While the KHX24C11T1K2/8X operates at a DRAM voltage of 1.65V, the KHX21C11T1K2/16X, KHX21C11T1K2/8X make do with 1.60V.

Lastly, there's the KHX16C10B1K2/16X, which comes with lighter HyperX Blu heatspreaders, packs two 8 GB modules that total 16 GB, and come with JEDEC profile of DDR3-1600 MHz (800 MHz actual), with CAS latency of 10T, and DRAM voltage of 1.50V.

The HyperX T1 KHX24C11T1K2/8X, HyperX T1 KHX21C11T1K2/16X, HyperX T1 KHX21C11T1K2/8X, and HyperX Blu KHX16C10B1K2/16X are priced at US $89.99, $219.99, $74.99, and $129.99, respectively.
