Chinese electronics company Konka is working on their own Android powered super phone that is alleged to pack as much as 3 GB of RAM. What's even more interesting is the rumor that this smartphone might come with a 3D projector embedded into it.
According to sources at GizChina, Konka is working on a new Android powered smartphone dubbed the S1 Mirage. Said phone is alleged to pack a 1080p stereoscopic 3D display along with a 3D projector to boot! Apart from that, the Konka S1 will be a pretty powerful phone if it really does pack the rumored specifications.
Konka S1 Mirage Specifications:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Chipset
- 3 GB Of RAM
- 5 Inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Stereoscopic 3D Display
- 32 GB ROM
- Texas Instruments T1 DLP Pico Projector
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
Expect an 8 or 13 MP camera and a big battery to complete this upcoming super phone. Gizchina reports that the S1 Mirage will go on sale (whenever it does) for 2499 Yuan, which translates to an affordable $405. The S1 Mirage certainly reminds us of Samsung's own Galaxy Beam that was launched last year, although Konka's smartphone is many times superior (yet cheaper) than the Galaxy Beam.
