Leaked manual shows iPhone 5S’s home button/touch ID sensor

More details about the alleged fingerprint scanner emerge just hours away from the iPhone 5S announcement.

The iPhone 5S has long been rumoured to feature a fingerprint scanner. Just hours away from the official announcement, tech news site Nowhereelse.fr has posted screenshots from an allegedly leaked iPhone 5S manual that showcases the home button which features a metallic ring around it.

The Wall Street Journal cited yesterday that the iPhone 5S is likely to include a fingerprint authentication system, which adds more credibility to the rumors indicating the inclusion of one. Whatever the case might be, we should have the official confirmation once the event kicks off tonight.
