Leica Camera Asia Pacific has unveiled seven new products in celebration of "Das Wesentliche" (the essential element in the art of photography) in Singapore, which include Leica M Monochrome, LEICA M9-P Edition Hermès and LEICA M9-P Edition Hermès – Série Limitée Jean-Louis Dumas.

The Leica M Monochrome claims to be the world’s first in black and white digital rangefinder camera with the iconic M System that is truly special for photographers who appreciate the magic of authentic black and white photography. The camera maker also introduced two new limited edition; LEICA M9-P Edition Hermès and LEICA M9-P Edition Hermès – Série Limitée Jean-Louis Dumas, which are the third in the premium special editions created in collaboration with Hermès. The new Leica X2 cameras which now comes with faster autofocus in low light and with an optional electronic viewfinder, which is ideal for semi-professional photographers and photography enthusiasts who want experience similar to the M-System. The latest V-LUX 40 model has a compact body and offers numerous new features in comparison to its predecessor, the Leica V-Lux 30. Leica also announced the Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens, as well as S-Adapter H that allows all the Hasselblad H-system lenses to be mounted on a Leica S2 camera body.
