The three new Ultrabooks are the ThinkPad T440s, T440 and the X240.

The new T series and X series lines now come with 20 percent thinner form factors, and include touchpads that support Windows 8 gestures. The new models also feature Intel’s latest 4th-generation Haswell processors, and the T440s is claimed to give a total of 17 hours of battery life, with the X240 giving a 10 hour battery life.

Lenovo mentions this is achieved using a new Power Bridge technology that allows users to switch external batteries without having to power the system down. The T440s and the X240 come with sealed internal batteries. These models also feature an external battery that can be switched out without having to switch the system off, as the machines would use the internal power source whenever the external battery is disconnected.
