The PC maker has just announced a slew of new touch-enabled PCs in the island state that come in a variety of form factors ranging from Ultrabooks to notebook/slate hybrids, and a new Table PC.
There are those who believe that one size just doesn’t fit all, and Lenovo most certainly belongs to that category. The Chinese PC maker has just unveiled a fresh array of PCs, which come in a plethora of form factors tailored to various needs and preferences. All the new devices run on the Windows 8 operating system and are fully touch-enabled, delivering an optimal computing experience.
Notable devices from their new lineup include:
The IdeaPad Yoga 11s – a slim and light 11.6-inch Ultrabook sporting a multimode design which features a 360-degree rotatable display that allows users to set up the notebook in four different modes – laptop, tablet, stand and tent – to suit various needs.
The ThinkPad Helix – a convertible notebook/tablet PC that boasts a detachable 11.6-inch display that functions on its own as a Windows 8 tablet. Like the Yoga 11s, the display can also be attached and flipped 360 degrees for users seeking added ports and connectivity with their tablet experience.
The ThinkPad Edge E431 – a business oriented notebook that features a redesigned trackpad that has been enlarged to give users greater control.
The IdeaPad Horizon – a 27-inch Table PC designed for family entertainment. When placed horizontally, the machine allows up to four users to work and play on it simultaneously, with preloaded games and applications optimized for collaborative usage. It also functions as a regular PC ideal for multimedia and entertainment with its massive 27-inch display.
Apart from the new model lineup, Lenovo has also refreshed some of their existing notebook PCs, they include the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, IdeaPad U310 and U410 Ultrabooks as well as the mainstream IdeaPad Z400 and S400, which are now all touch-enabled.
