Lenovo unveils SmartTV K81 and K91, and IdeaPad Yoga tablet-ultrabook hybrid

At the event, Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo chairman and CEO, introduced the IdeaPad Yoga. "The design is that of the Ultrabook – stylish and powerful with eight hours of battery. But there's more to Yoga; it is also a perfect tablet. It blends two form factors into one. A very productive notebook and a tablet with a large touchscreen display."

The IdeaPad Yoga is designed as a multimode notebook PC that has four intuitive usage modes for optimized interaction – laptop, tablet, stand and tent. The IdeaPad Yoga measures 16.7mm thin, weighs 1.4kg, and runs WIndows 8. It will have three USB connectors, whereby one is a USB 3.0, volume controls and a memory card reader. According to Lenovo, the hybrid Ultrabook and tablet device will be available when the new OS is officially launched, which is the second half of the year.
