This particular product line, which was first introduced to the world in the early parts of June this year during the Computex 2011 trade fair that was held in Taipei, has finally been scheduled to be launched in various parts of the world, such as Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Asia and even Africa.

Versatile OEM-assembled desktop PCs are fast going the way of the dinosaur now that notebooks and the new breed of "post-PC devices" such as tablets and smartphones are fast taking over as the computing tools of choice for performing basic computational tasks, right? That may be so, but the truth of the matter is that desktops PCs are still here to stay for the immediate future, albeit in a slightly different form such as all-in-one (AIO) machines, like the recently-released V300 series of AIO PCs from LG.

According to the official press release, the new V300 series of AIO PCs, which were first introduced to consumers way back in June this year during Computex 2011, will boast a 23-inch high definition (1920 x 1080) IPS, LED-backlit display, a slot-loading optical drive, 500GB of internal storage, and support for wireless Internet connectivity via the Wifi 802.11b/g/n standard. In addition, the flagship model, which is also known as the V300-DE10K, will boast a 3D-capable display and make use of a combination of Core i5-2410M processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and AMD's Mobility Radeon HD 6650M graphics card to provide its computational and graphics crunching horsepower.

Other variations of the V300 series of AIO PCs from LG include the V300-UE30K, which sports an Intel Core i3-2310M processor instead and loses the 3D-capable display in favor of the standard  23-inch high definition (1920 x 1080) IPS, LED-backlit display, and the entry-level V300-LE10K, which utilizes a Pentium B940 processor, has only 2GB of memory and makes use of the processor's built-in Intel HD Graphic GPU core.
