The LG D830 might turn out to be the G3 or the G2 Pro, and comes with a 13MP camera and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The LG D830 was seen benchmarking on HTML5Test, a site that checks how fast a mobile browser can render web content.
The device scored 503 out of 555 in the benchmark test. At the time of the test, the device was running Chrome 30 on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The D830 was leaked as early as November last year, and at that time it was revealed that the handset featured a full-HD screen and LTE connectivity. Today’s leak shows that it comes with a 13MP camera along with the ability to play back 4K video along with slow motion playback. 4K playback is a great addition, but the mobile is said to feature a full-HD screen, so it could be that one of the two leaks were falsified.
The model number D830 is close to that of the Nexus 5 (D820 and D821) and LG G2 (D802), so it might turn out to be LG’s next flagship. It could be the G3 or the G2 Pro, both devices that are rumoured to be launched next month at the Mobile World Congress. In addition to the LG D830, four other devices were caught benchmarking, with model numbers LS740, LG-D410, LG-D320, and LG-MS323. LG might be looking to launch all these devices at MWC. Samsung is said to be announcing four new devices at the event, so it is more than likely that LG will be doing the same.
