LG Launches X140 Netbook

LG has announced the launch of the new stylish X140 netbook. It comes preinstalled with Windows 7 Starter OS, and features 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB memory and a 320GB SATA HDD.

The LG X140 is a slim and stylish netbook that comes with decent hardware specifications - 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB memory and 320GB SATA hard disk.

Running on Windows 7 Starter operating system, the 10.1-inch X140 features LG Smart POP function which allows user to do simple transfer of folders between PC and mobile phones, call or send SMS from netbook, as well as synchronize contacts and outlooks automatically between the mobile phone and the netbook.

Comes in white, hot pink, and black, the X140 weighs just 1.45kg and has battery life that can last up to nine hours on wireless. Other features include 1.3-megapixel webcam with You-Cam viewer, SRS TruSurround HD sound and embedded 3G modem chipset for web surfing on 3G networks.

The LG X140 is now available in the UAE and in other GCC markets at 1,799.00 AED (approx. US$490)
