LG's new Chocolate phone is now available worldwide

Korean manufacturer LG has recently announced their new Chocolate phone which is now available worldwide. At the red carpet event in Hong Kong, famous Taiwanese Chi-ling Lin and Singapore TV personality and jewelry designer Nadya Hutagalung were present to their experience with the new Chocolate.

Hong Kong, November 4, 2009 - LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in mobile communications, announced the worldwide availability of the new LG Chocolate phone (LG BL40). The new LG Chocolate is the fourth handset in LG’s Black Label Series and successor to the highly-acclaimed LG Chocolate.

The new LG Chocolate’s red carpet event in Hong Kong showcases the phone’s unconventional design direction and highlight its unique partnerships in entertainment and fashion, including collaborations with designer label Twenty8Twelve and Twentieth Century Fox.

The event brings together high-profile names who have been inspired by the new LG Chocolate’s unconventional design, viewing and usability features. Asia’s leading actress Chi-ling Lin from Taiwan and Singapore TV personality and jewelry designer Nadya Hutagalung will share with the audience their personal experience with the new phone.

Furthermore, as part of LG’s association with Twentieth Century Fox, the new Chocolate phone will come embedded with content from director James Cameron’s epic 3D fantasy, Avatar. Jon Landau, the film’s producer, will be on hand in Hong Kong to introduce exclusive footage of this highly-anticipated movie.

Minimalistic while sleek, the new LG Chocolate breaks from standard mobile phone designs with its disruptively different 4-inch wide screen. Featuring a stretched 21:9 ratio HD panoramic display, the mobile experience has been reinvented by LG for a better user experience when browsing web pages, checking e-mails or viewing videos on the new LG Chocolate’s cinema-like screen.

Starting November 5, the handset will be available to customers worldwide.
