LG unveils Optimus Pad LTE, the company's first LTE tablet

LG has introduced its first LTE tablet, the Optimus Pad LTE. Powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, the 8.9-inch tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb and features True high definition (HD) IPS display for breath-taking visuals.

Today, LG unveiled their first LTE-capable tablet, the Optimus Pad LTE. Launching first in Korea, the company has equipped the tablet with both LTE technology and True high definition (HD) IPS display, which helped to differentiate itself from the competition. Users can enjoy high definition multimedia content with 1280x720 True HD IPS display and the tablet also comes with an 8-megapixel camera for capturing high resolution images and videos. The Optimus Pad LTE also claims to be the world’s first tablet to support an SD memory card of up to 32GB.
 
The Optimus Pad LTE offers easy-to-use controls and functions such as the Smart Movie Editor for editing pictures and videos; Web Duet for e-mailing, messaging and SNS sharing with search functions; and On-Screen Phone (OSP) software that ensures compatibility with LG smartphones. Weighing 479g and measuring a mere 9.34mm thin, the LG Optimus Pad LTE is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. It also comes with HDMI output and supports Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).
