LG unveils the Optimus L4 II 3.8-inch budget droid
LG officially unveiled their budget oriented Optimus L4 II 3.8-inch Smartphone running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
LG has officially announced the budget oriented Optimus L4 II Smartphone. Packing a single core MediaTek MT6575 chipset, the Optimus L4 II won’t be breaking any performance records this summer. The 3.8-inch display packs an archaic HVGA (480 x 320) resolution. Frankly speaking, I don’t remember the last device I’ve looked at with a HVGA display this large. Nevertheless, have a look at the complete internal specifications.
LG Optimus L4 II Specifications:
- MediaTek MT6575 Chipset
- 1.0 GHz Single Core ARM Cortex A9 CPU
- PowerVR SGX531 GPU
- 512 MB Of RAM
- 3.8-inch HVGA (480 x 320) Display
- 3.15 MP Rear Camera, LED Flash
- 4 GB Internal Storage, Micro SD Card Support Up To 32 GB
- Dimensions: 112.5 x 64.7 x 11.9mm
- 1700 mAh Battery
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
The only attractive feature about the phone is that it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, although we are really skeptical about the performance on a single core chipset and just 512 MB of RAM. The 3.15 MP camera seems an afterthought at best, and the price tag of the phone isn’t going to turn heads either. The LG Optimus L4 II is priced at 5490 RUB, which translates to roughly $175. Sorry LG, but not many are throwing that amount of money at you for this device. LG is also expected to unveil a dual-SIM variant of the same phone dubbed ‘Optimus L4 II Dual’ soon.
