LG has unveiled their new Wink series phones for the lifestyle youths (which they classed as Generation Z). The three models – Wink, Wink Style and Wink 3G – are all full touch-based and offer various features including social networking for the consumers who want to be readily connected.
LG has announced their new Wink Series phones designed to match the lifestyles of young “Generation Z” users. The Wink series is a collection of vibrant colored full-touch phones and consists of three models – Wink, Wink Style and Wink 3G. According to the maker, the LG Wink Series provides versatile texting functionality, enhanced music, social networking support, and customizable, user-friendly interface and design.
All the Wink phones offer virtual QWERTY keypad which can be switched from portrait to landscape mode easily.
Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and microSD slot for enjoying and easy sharing of music and movies. Add to this a stylish two-tone design and the fun cartoon-styled user interface and the LG Wink Series easily stands out in the full-touch handset market.
The LG Wink sports a 2.4-inch display and is the most compact phone among its siblings and slips easily into a pocket or purse.
LG Wink Style
LG Wink Style features a 2.8-inch LCD display and bold design. Available in a variety of colors, it claims to be one of the most fashionable full-touch phones on the market.
LG Wink 3G
The LG Wink 3G provides faster connectivity and data transmission, and keep users connected to friends and family all the time. With advanced e-mail feature, it utilizes the latest in push-delivery technology, instantly alerting users when messages are received in their email inbox.
The LG Wink Series will be available in Europe and the Middle East starting in mid-August followed by Latin America, CIS and select Asian countries, including China, in the third quarter.
