LG’s Tegra 3 powered X3 smartphone scores big in Quadrant

More details have leaked on LG's upcoming flagship handset, the X3, and if these rumoured specs turn out to be true then LG could well have a real winner on their hands.

More details have leaked on LG's upcoming flagship handset, the X3, and if these rumoured specs turn out to be true then LG could well have a real winner on their hands.

For one, the phone is said to boast NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core chip which runs at 1.5GHz on a single core and 1.4GHz when 2 to 4 cores are used. Then there's all the other bits and pieces that make you raise your eyebrows such as a schmick 720p 4.7-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera on the rear and a 1.3MP on the front, 16GB internal storage with the inclusion of a microSD slot and of course, a smothering of Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is expected to come with a 2000mAh battery.

One of the most interesting screenshots obtained via the source link shows a *very* impressive Quadrant benchmark run on the phone with a score of 4412.

Hopefully at MWC later in the month we'll see LG announce and show off this lovely sounding phone for all to see.
