Lian Li has announced two new cases from its Mini-Q lineup – PC-Q09 and PC-Q09F. These two models are designed for convenience and style, and for those who have space constraints. There are four colors to choose from, and both cases can be mounted on the back of your monitor to turn your machine into an all-in-one PC.
Lian Li Mini-Q PC-Q09
Measuring 265 x 110 x 200mm and weighing 1.4kg, the PC-Q09 features one slim optical drive bay, one standard 2.5-inch hard drive bay, and comes with a 110W power supply unit with an external AC power adapter. A multi-heat zone design is implemented for a better thermal solution – one zone for the motherboard and another zone beneath for the HDD and slim ODD.
Vibration issues are eliminated thanks to the PC-Q09’s 1.5mm aluminium alloy construction. The side panels are also secured with screws. Furthermore, the 2.5-inch HDD can be mounted using thumb screw with a shock-absorption rubber ring.
The PC-Q09 has ventilation holes on the top and side panels; a 80mm fan mounted on the side panel extracts heat from the case.
There are two USB 3.0 ports as well as HD audio multimedia I/O ports are located right on the front bezel for easy access. Last but not least, the PC-Q09 offers users a choice to mount the case on the back of their monitor with the VESA case standard kit, transforming their workhouse into an ‘all-in-one PC’.
Lian Li Mini-Q PC-Q09F
The PC-Q09F measures 265 x 124 x 200mm and weighs 2.1kg – slightly taller and heavier than the PC-Q09 due to its built-in 150W Flex ATX power supply unit. Following the same concepts as the PC-Q09, Lian Li’s Mini-Q PC-Q09F is also designed for silent yet efficient cooling. The optional VESA mounting kit can also be used on the PC-Q09F for installing the case behind your monitor.
