List of worthy Google Reader alternatives
Pulse is another useful service that may or may not be a worthy replacement. Pulse also allows users to seamlessly import their RSS feeds from Google Reader and displays them in a tile view. Personally, I am not a big fan of Pulse as I find it too cluttered compared to other readers.
Also, when I imported my feeds in Pulse, it created multiple folders for my subscriptions, for example, if I had a folder named Apple, it created multiple folders for the same category may be due to a restriction in the number of feeds you can add to any folder. Many people may find it good but the thing which is really missed in Pulse is the List view.

Flipboard is a magazine style reader for iOS and Android. It offers users with an excellent interface on a mobile or tablet and users can subscribe to their favorite websites. You can login with your Google Reader and view your RSS feeds.
You can even connect many other services as well including Google+, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and many more. I don’t think there is any better app for mobile devices than Flipboard.
